Eurostat says services production eased month on month in June, while remaining above its year-earlier level.
Eurostat’s first estimate shows seasonally adjusted services production fell 0.3% in the euro area and 0.2% across the EU in June 2026 from May. Both aggregates had grown 0.7% in May.
Compared with June 2025, services production was 1.5% higher in both areas. The release excludes financial and public services; it measures output volume, not revenue.
The company’s September disclosure includes taxes, salaries, dividends and local procurement spending.
The 8 September update covers drilling through March 2026; the resource estimate is not a reserve.
The value of permits dropped to $12.2 billion, more than reversing June’s increase.
