The consumer confidence index in Türkiye rose 1.3% to 91.9 in September from 90.8 in August, according to a survey conducted jointly by TÜİK and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. The index is calculated from consumer tendency survey results.

Expectations for household finances over the next 12 months rose 0.6% to 93.7, while expectations for the general economic situation rose 0.5% to 89.8. The intention to spend on durable goods over the coming year increased 3.6% to 108.8. Assessment of the household’s current financial situation slipped 0.1% to 75.3.
