Türkiye’s central government recorded 1.655 trillion lira in budget revenue and 1.642 trillion lira in expenditure in August 2026, producing a 12.9 billion lira monthly surplus, according to the official budget figures published on 15 September.
The primary balance, which excludes interest costs, showed a 209.9 billion lira surplus on the month. These are August results; the official report also covers cumulative figures for January through August.
The proposal sets a R$2.576 trillion primary-spending limit and estimates a R$1,741 minimum wage.
Treasury’s August payments brought the cumulative total of called federal guarantees since 2016 to R$89.66 billion.
