Story details

HM Revenue and Customs reported on 24 September that UK corporate tax receipts totalled £100.4 billion in 2025–26, £3.5 billion or 4% more than a year earlier. The total includes Corporation Tax and five other corporate levies in the statistics.

For 2024–25, estimated corporate tax liabilities were £94.2 billion, compared with £92.0 billion the previous year. HMRC says liability figures can be revised as amended or late company returns arrive; receipts and liabilities cover different periods and accounting measures.
