Sennar receives 28,000 litres of 60% Quile pesticide
SUNA reported that Sennar received 28,000 litres of Quile pesticide at 60% concentration from the federal plant-protection authorities for a starling-control campaign.
The Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported from Singa on 10 October that Sennar’s Ministry of Production and Economic Resources had received 28,000 litres of Quile pesticide at a stated concentration of 60%. The supply came from the federal Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation through its General Directorate of Plant Protection.
A state ministry director said the delivery was intended to support efforts against starling birds and protect the agricultural season. SUNA reported the arrival of the stock, not its later use. The article gives no application volume, treatment area, crop-loss estimate, procurement price or campaign outcome, so the delivery cannot be taken as evidence of pest reduction.

The plant-protection authority reported aerial spraying across several Gezira areas, with Rahad next and an additional aircraft planned for western Gezira.
