Story details
Scandium Canada said on 21 October that its 2026 diamond-drilling campaign at the Crater Lake project in Nunavik, Québec, comprised 49 holes totalling 10,018 metres, about two and a half times the 4,000 metres initially planned. The company reported that the TG deposit’s prospective footprint now extends nearly 1.2 kilometres, compared with 700 metres in its 2025 resource estimate.
The issuer said it had received assay results for 28 holes; results for the other 21 were expected in November. A 15-tonne bulk sample was collected for metallurgical test work. The company also identified a parallel zone about 140 metres east of TG and at least 500 metres long, but said assays there were pending. A revised mineral-resource estimate was targeted before year-end 2026, with a preliminary economic assessment planned afterward; these are company targets, not completed studies or independently verified reserves.
