Maurel & Prom reports 4% rise in nine-month working-interest output
The French-listed producer said its working-interest production averaged 39,126 barrels of oil equivalent per day in January–September, up 4% year on year.
Maurel & Prom reported average working-interest production of 39,126 boepd in the first nine months of 2026, 4% above the comparable 2025 period. The company’s release lists output from operations in Gabon, Angola, Tanzania, Colombia and Venezuela; it does not describe French production.
The company also reported a gas discovery at Tanzania’s Kasa-1X well and said its acquisition of assets in Colombia and Ecuador remained subject to regulatory approvals, with completion expected by year-end. Those are separate operational updates, not additional production already booked.
The Western Desert development is designed to process up to 100 million standard cubic feet of gas per day; start-up activity does not mean full production.
